One of the most popular offers of Schönberg's youth care was the youth café. The café was residented in the old buildings of the previous swimming pool. This facility was opened in 2000. The café was an open meeting place for young people. In sommer the time was used for barbecues, the grass fields were a good opportunity for games and exercise. Inside, there were events like a discothek, holiday programmes or other special events.
These ideas shall be revived in 2004/2005.
Schönberg's yourth and the surroundings shall build a new own meeting place for their individual organization of leisure time again. Through active support the youth care hopes, that the future users lern the importance of responsibility in using of their own rooms. It has already applied for the development programme.
