Ratzeburg
Since 1990 we join a town twinning together with Ratzeburg.

The reason for this partnership was the aim, to support Schönberg's administration in the adjustment of work.

More intensive contacts were developed by the native association for the principality Ratzeburg e.V. and the church parish of Schönberg.

Unfortunately, we noticed only a few offical meetings and personal connections between each other.

So, the 850-year celebration of the bishopric Ratzeburg was occasion and method to activate the partnership once again. The calendar of events offered many opportunities for contacts on an official level, with clubs and associations but also for private visits.

Färgelanda.
Actually we are preparing another town twinning with a Swedish community. The town Färgelanda is situated in Dalsland and has a population of nearly 3000. A first visit took place in February.
